Administrative Services Bureau - Assistant Chief of Police
 

 Assistant Chief Falvo joined the Schenectady Police Department in January, 1980. During his 25 year career he has risen through the ranks starting his career as a Patrolman to his current position as Assistant Chief of Police.

While holding these various ranks, Assistant Chief Falvo was responsible for the following assignments:


   Acting Chief of Police (2002)
   Assistant Chief-Field Services Bureau, Administrative Services Bureau, and Investigative Services Bureau.
   Public Information officer
   Detective Lieutenant Investigative Services Bureau
   Detective Lieutenant Office of Professional Standards
   Lieutenant, Parking and Traffic Division
   Lieutenant, Field Services Bureau
   Commander, Special Operations Squad (SWAT)

Assistant Chief Falvo’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He is also a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Nation Academy, session 219.
