SUBJECT:BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT CAPTURED


The 28-year-old Rotterdam man being sought for the February 28th robbery of the First Niagara bank at 1742 Union Street was captured this morning at a Guilderland motel.

Members of the Capital District Fugitive Task Force and the Albany County Sheriff’s Department arrested Robert Centofanti at about 10:30 at the M & M Motel on Western Avenue.

Centofanti is charged with Robbery-3rd degree. He is currently being held at Schenectady Police Headquarters awaiting his arraignment.
