SUBJECT:EASTERN PARKWAY PRICE CHOPPER ROBBED
The Price Chopper supermarket at 1640 Eastern Parkway was robbed at about 8:50 tonight.
A white male entered the store, went to the customer service counter and handed the clerk a note demanding money. He said he had a gun, but none was displayed. The clerk complied and gave the man an unknown amount of money. The man then left the store in an unknown direction. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as 5’8” tall, 160 pounds and was 30-40 years old. He was wearing a green coat and a white knit cap.
It is unknown at this time if this robbery is related to the earlier robbery at the Tel Oil gas station on Broadway.
