SUBJECT:MORE CHARGES FILED IN CHILD ABUSE CASE
The couple arrested for savagely abusing the woman’s 4-year-old daughter in a child abuse case that veteran police and child protective officials have described as the worst they have ever seen have been charged with more crimes.
Delia Hernandez and Jose Munoz have been additionally charged with the felonies of Assault-1st degree and Unlawful Imprisonment-1st degree. They were arraigned today in Police Court and sent back to the Schenectady County Jail.
The victim continues to be treated for her numerous injuries at Albany Medical Center.

At this time, the Schenectady Police Department and Schenectady County Child Protective Services are establishing a process to accept donations that should be implemented in the very near future.
