SUBJECT:OFFICIALS TO CONDUCT MONT PLEASANT WALKABOUT TODAY
This afternoon at 4 p.m., a contingent of city and county officials – including Mayor Brian Stratton, District Attorney Bob Carney and Police Chief Michael Geraci – as well as members of the Mont Pleasant Action Coalition (MPAC), will walk through the Crane Street business district and some neighboring streets, starting at the former Mont Pleasant Diner at 920 Crane.
This MPAC-organized walkabout follows several walks in the City’s Hamilton Hill area. These initiatives are proactive methods of observing the neighborhood’s existing conditions, and an opportunity to talk to residents and business owners about their concerns. Once the specific issues are identified, measures will be taken to improve the overall quality of life in the neighborhood.
