NEWS RELEASE DETAILS DATE/TIME: Wednesday, October 28th, 2009 / 04:15 PMSUBJECT:One Arrest in prostitution sting The Schenectady Police Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and New York State Police CNET detectives conducted a prostitution sting on October 27, 2009, arresting one female for prostitution. Under arrest for Prostitution, a Class B-Misdemeanor is Rebekah N. Briggs, 28, of Meadow Lane Latham. Briggs is accused of offering to perform a sexual act on an undercover state police officer for money while at the Days Inn on Nott Terrace in Schenectady. Briggs was working for an escort service when contacted for the sting. Briggs was released on bail Tuesday night and appeared before the city court judge today. |
