NEWS RELEASE DETAILS DATE/TIME: Thursday, November 5th, 2009 / 03:00 PMSUBJECT:Two arrested for assault on Strong Street Two Schenectady men are under arrest for assaulting a male on October 26, 2009 in front of 815 Strong Street. The twenty-five year old victim was attacked by two brothers and cut in the face with a large knife, requiring over 100 stitches. Jose Luis Vazquez, 29, of 404 Schenectady Street, Schenectady is charged with First Degree Assault, a class B Felony, and Second Degree Menacing, a class A misdemeanor. Luis Manuel Vazquez, 26, of 199 Hulett Street, Schenectady, is charged with First Degree Assault, a class B Felony. Both were held in the Schenectady Police Department Pre-arraignment detention cell pending arraignment before a city court judge today. |
