SUBJECT:BANK ROBBERY @ FLEET BANK (Nott St./Van Vranken Ave.)

Detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at about 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Fleet Bank at the corner of Nott Street and Van Vranken Avenue.

A man entered the bank, approached the counter, and told the teller that he had a gun (although none was displayed) and to give him the money. The teller complied with the man’s demand. The man then fled from the bank with an undetermined amount of money, and was last seen running west of Nott Street. He has not been located.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8”, thin build, brown eyes, mustache, swelling under his right eye, and scabs on his right hand. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Schenectady Police.
