NEWS RELEASE DETAILS DATE/TIME: Thursday, June 24th, 2004 / 05:45 PMSUBJECT:RESULTS OF JUNE 23rd PROSTITUTION SWEEP On Wednesday, June 23rd, members of the Department’s Vice Squad – with assistance from New York State Police CNET-Capitol – conducted a prostitution sweep in the Hamilton Hill and Central State Street neighborhoods. This initiative produced 8 arrests. The following women were arrested for “Prostitution”: * Amy Beckwith, 24, no address given * Jessie Burrows, 37, no address given * Claire Claydon, 45, no address given * Nadine Dix, 49, Schenectady * Cheryl Goss, 39, Amsterdam * Melissa Morrell, 35, Schenectady The following women were arrested for “Loitering for the purpose of prostitution”: * Kristel Bashaw, 33, Schenectady * Letitia Reed, 27, Schenectady |
